The Recruiting Hive is seeking a Registered Nurse to join our Operating Room team as a Circulator in North Carolina. You will perform comprehensive perioperative assessments and collaborate with the surgical team to ensure patient safety and outcomes.

The ideal candidate holds an active NC or compact license, BLS and ACLS within specified timelines, and at least 2 years of OR Circulating RN experience, with familiarity in orthopedic, general surgery, da Vinci, and OB/GYN procedures.

Qualifications

Registered Nurse, Operating Room Circulator

Position Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse to join our Operating Room team as a Circulator. In this role, you will be integral to delivering exceptional patient care in a dynamic surgical environment. This is a mid-level position that requires a proactive approach to ensure efficient and safe surgical procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive pre-, intra-, and post-operative assessments to ensure patient safety.
• Collaborate with surgical teams, including surgeons and anesthesiologists, to provide optimal patient outcomes.
• Maintain precise and up-to-date documentation for all surgical procedures.
• Support the surgical team by anticipating needs and ensuring a smooth workflow.
• Deliver age-appropriate and procedure-specific nursing care throughout the perioperative process.

Qualifications:

• Current North Carolina State License or Compact License with North Carolina endorsement.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 30 days of hire.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification required within 90 days of hire.
• Associate's degree in Nursing required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience in Surgery and Operating Room Circulating RN roles is required.
• Experience with orthopedic, general surgery, da Vinci, and some OB/GYN procedures is essential.

Work Hours:

Typical working hours are 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, with 1-2 on-call shifts per week. A 30-minute call-back response is required.

Compensation and Benefits:

• Salary range: $70,000.00 - $90,000.00 USD.
