Job summary

SavvyWise WorkForce is recruiting an experienced Operating Room Circulator RN for a full-time, on-site position at a community hospital in Rutherfordton, North Carolina. The role focuses on patient safety, sterile technique, and accurate documentation throughout circulating responsibilities.

You will coordinate with surgeons, anesthesia providers, surgical technologists, and nursing colleagues; prepare the OR, verify equipment, and support efficient turnover.

Qualifications

• Two years of true Surgery/Operating Room circulating RN experience.
• Current North Carolina RN license or multi-state compact.
• Experience circulating orthopedic, general surgery, robotic (da Vinci) cases, and some OB/GYN.
• Ability to work full-time on-site in Rutherfordton, NC.

Responsibilities

What you will do

• Coordinate with surgeons, anesthesia providers, surgical technologists, and nursing colleagues.
• Prepare the operating room, verify required equipment and supplies, and support efficient room turnover.
• Circulate orthopedic, general surgery, robotic-assisted, and selected OB/GYN cases.
• Respond effectively to changing clinical priorities and perioperative emergencies.

Required qualifications

• At least two years of true Surgery/Operating Room circulating RN experience.
• Current North Carolina RN license or a qualifying multistate compact RN license.
• Experience circulating orthopedic, general surgery, da Vinci/robotic, and some OB/GYN cases.
• Ability to work full-time on-site in Rutherfordton, North Carolina.

Experience limited to Pre-Op, Post-Op, Endoscopy/GI, or PACU without operating-room circulating experience does not meet the requirement.

Compensation

$74,000-$86,000 annually, based on experience and qualifications.
