Job summary

Soliant is seeking an experienced Operating Room RN for a contract role in Birmingham, AL. The nurse will provide perioperative care across preop, intraop, and postop phases, working closely with surgeons and anesthesiologists in a fast-paced environment.

The position requires valid RN license with OR experience, BLS certification, and strong communication/organizational skills. Flexible shifts and weekend rotations are available to support patient care excellence.

Responsibilities

• Participate in late shifts and weekend rotations per scheduling requirements
• Provide support in emergency surgical cases and maintain readiness at all times

Schedule/Hours

• AM shifts available (choose from 4 days x 10 hours or 3 days x 12 hours per week)
• No on-call requirements
• One late stay per week required
• One weekend required each month

Qualifications

• Valid RN license with demonstrated OR experience
• Proficient in circulating and scrubbing for a variety of surgical procedures
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to adapt quickly to new environments and changing situations
• Commitment to high standards of patient safety and quality care

$2,064 - $2,176/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 40 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
