Job summary

MedCadre is seeking an experienced OR nurse to join our 447-bed community hospital in Florida. The role covers day shifts in a busy OR suite with robotic/orthopedic/general cases and a 11-OR setup; on-call may include overnight shifts periodically.

Candidates should have 2+ years OR experience, BCLS certification, and be fully vaccinated. Cerner EMR familiarity is preferred, with willingness to support 4x10 hour shifts and weekend call as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years OR nursing experience required.
• BCLS certification required.
• COVID-19 vaccination required (medical/religious exemptions as applicable).
• Cerner EMR experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform circulating duties in 11 ORs during day shift.
• Assist with patient placement and room readiness.
• Support charge nurse with call shifts (overnight) as scheduled.
• Comply with infection control and hospital policies.
