Job summary

Cynet Health is seeking an experienced RN - OR for a 13-week travel assignment in Bristol, CT. The role features 9-hour days with 4/9s and an on-call rotation across 8 surgical suites performing a variety of cases including Urology, Gyn, Robotics, Ortho, Spine, Plastics, and Bariatrics.

Candidates must have a valid nursing license, CPR/BLS, a minimum of 5 years in perioperative care, and prior travel experience. On-call coverage and fast response times are required as part of the schedule.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years nursing experience.
• Must hold valid Nursing License.
• CPR/BLS certification required.
• Must have travel nursing experience and OR scrubbing experience.
• Unit has 8 surgical suites with varied cases such as Urology, Gynecology, Robotics, Orthopedics, Spine, Plastics, and Bariatrics.

Responsibilities

• Weeknight on-call 7 PM–7 AM, Monday–Friday.
• Weekend on-call 7 AM–7 AM on Saturday or Sunday.
• Holiday on-call is required.
• Response time for call is 30 minutes.
• Floating to other units is not required.
• Dress code turquoise scrubs; Meditech charting.

Description:The unit has 8 surgical suites.The average number of cases per day is between 15-25.Common cases include Urology, Gyn, Robotics, Ortho, Spine, Plastics, and Bariatrics.Weeknight on-call requirement is from 7 PM to 7 AM, Monday through Friday.Weekend on-call requirement is from 7 AM to 7 AM on Saturday or Sunday.Holiday on-call is also required.There is a mandatory call rotation starting once regular staff select their shifts.Call days fluctuate depending on staffing.Response time for call is 30 minutes.Floating to other units is not required.Dress code consists of turquoise scrubs.The charting system utilized is Meditech.
