Arnot Health is seeking an Operating Room Registered Nurse to deliver perioperative care before, during, and after surgery at our Elmira campus. You will collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and the perioperative team to maintain patient safety, aseptic technique, and high-quality, compassionate care in line with professional standards.

The role requires a current NYS RN license (or eligibility) and BLS certification, with onsite work and zero travel.

Qualificações

• Registered nurse with current NYS license or eligible to obtain.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) required or obtained within 90 days of hire.

• Provide direct intraoperative patient care while maintaining aseptic technique and adherence to surgical safety standards.

• Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately and in accordance with organizational and regulatory requirements.
• Promote quality, safety, and continuous improvement through compliance with policies, emergency preparedness, patient advocacy, and professional development activities.

Operating Room Registered Nurse

Provides direct perioperative nursing care to patients before, during, and after surgical procedures. Working collaboratively with the surgical team, the RN ensures patient safety, maintains a sterile environment, and delivers high-quality, compassionate care while adhering to professional nursing standards.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Provide direct intraoperative patient care while maintaining aseptic technique and adherence to surgical safety standards.

Required Skills and Experience

• Registered professional nurse with current NYS license or eligible to obtain.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Required or obtained within 90 days of hire.

Physical Requirements

• Appreciable physical effort required; lifting, pulling, pushing, and moving patients of various size, capabilities and abilities.
• Some lifting, reaching, and stooping.
• Required to be on feet much of the time.

Per Diem Day/Evening Pay Range Disclosure

• Standard Rate of $46.50 per hour plus benefits
