United Surgical Partners International, operating St. Thomas Surgery Center – Midtown, is seeking an Operating Room Registered Nurse (Circulator). No weekends, no call, and no holidays to balance life and work.

The Circulating RN provides nursing care during surgery: positioning, prepping, and circulating the case. Requires TN RN license, CPR and ACLS, and at least 1 year in intra-operative setting, with experience across Orthopedics, ENT, General, GI, Gynecology, Ophthalmology, Pain, Plastic,

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited RN program.
• Active TN RN license.
• CPR and ACLS certification required.
• One year intra-operative OR experience required.
• Strong nursing judgment and decision-making ability.

Responsibilities

• Position and prep patient for surgery; circulate the case.

Operating Room Registered Nurse at St. Thomas Surgery Center – Midtown

The Registered Nurse Circulator provides nursing care and service during surgery cases. The Circulating RN will be responsible for positioning the patient, prepping the patient, and circulating the case. Experienced in surgical procedures in the following specialties: Orthopedics, ENT, General, GI, Gynecology, Ophthalmology, Pain, Plastic, Podiatry, Urology.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited RN School of Nursing
• Active TN RN license
• CPR required and advanced life support certification required.
• One year experience required intra-operative setting.
• Ability to make decisions based on nursing judgment
