Job summary

United Surgical Partners International's Surgery Center at St. Francis in Memphis seeks a Full Time OR RN to provide nursing care and circulate during surgical cases. The Circulating RN positions and prepares patients, ensuring patient safety and efficient case flow.

Candidates should be a graduate of an accredited RN program, hold an active RN license in Tennessee, and have 1+ year Circulator experience; BLS/ACLS/PALS as required; strong clinical judgment.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited RN School of Nursing.
• Active RN license in the state.
• BLS, ACLS, or PALS as required by the center.
• Minimum 1 year experience as a Circulator.
• Ability to make decisions based on nursing judgment.

Responsibilities

• Position the patient for surgery and prep prior to the procedure.
• Circulate the case and monitor the patient throughout the operation.
• Provide nursing care during surgery and assist the team as needed.

The Registered Nurse Circulator provides nursing care and service during surgery cases. The Circulating RN will be responsible for positioning the patient, prepping the patient, and circulating the case.
