Job summary

Henry Ford Health in Michigan is seeking a Registered Nurse – Operating Room for a 40-hour, day shift. This role provides leadership in coordinating and delivering high-quality patient care within the OR, using the nursing process to assess, plan, implement and evaluate care for patients and families.

The RN will communicate effectively with the health care team, participate in solving variances from patient goals, and ensure documentation and teaching.

Qualifications

• BSN preferred.
• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
• Clinical knowledge and analytical abilities to formulate effective nursing care plans.
• Ability to perform a wide variety of professional nursing services.
• Ability to effectively communicate with patients, families, and hospital personnel.
