Job summary

Henry Ford Health is recruiting a Registered Nurse – Operating Room for a 40-hour/week day shift. The role leads coordination of quality patient care, applies the nursing process, and communicates with the health care team to support patient outcomes.

Required are Michigan RN licensure and a pathway through an accredited nursing program, with BSN preferred. The nurse will collaborate across departments to ensure safe, efficient perioperative care.

• Provides leadership in the coordination and delivery of quality compassionate patient care.
• Utilizes the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation, to provide, delegate, supervise and document care and teaching of patients and family.
• Effectively communicates pertinent patient/family information to health care team.
• Participates in finding solutions for variances from patient goals and ensures implementation of solutions.
