Job description

Unit Description: As a nurse in the Operating Room at The University of Vermont Medical Center, you will work in a level 1 trauma center serving all service lines within the OR. Nurses have the opportunity to collaborate with specialty teams such as heart, ortho, or neuro, and work with Davinci robots.

On-call: Required

Incentives: $20K RN Sign-On Bonus for full-time (pro-rated for part-time). Evening shift differential $3/hour, weekend day shift differential $3.50/hour, night & weekend evening shift differential $6.50/hour, weekend night shift differential $10/hour.

Requirements:

• Current RN licensure or compact licensure recognized by the State of Vermont required.
• The University of Vermont Health Network is moving toward an all Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) workforce. All external candidates hired into, or current employees promoted to, an RN position will be required to obtain their BSN as outlined in their offer letter.
• Appropriate experience in the specific clinical area. Varies by unit.
