MUST:
Experienced Registered Nurse - Operating Room
2 plus years of experience as a Registered Nurse working in the Operating Room
Must have an active and good standing Registered Nurse Maryland License
Must have active BLS and ACLs
DUTIES:
Registered Nurse - Operating Room will be responsible for, but not limited to the following:
Coordinating the safety of the patient while in the operating or procedure rooms
Assessing the patient and the procedure
Anticipating the needs of the surgical team and providing such services while maintaining an aseptic and safe environment
Administers conscious sedation to patients under the supervision of the doctor performing the case as requested
Performing patient care activities within scope of nursing practice will include but not limited: to patient assessment, collaboration with healthcare providers, procedural management, and a variety of medically related tasks; and other duties as assigned.
