Job summary

HCA HealthONE Aurora in Colorado is seeking a registered nurse to join the Operating Room. The Surgery RN oversees and directs care of surgical patients across all specialties and acts as primary nurse coordinating intraoperative teams.

Requirements include current Colorado RN licensure or multi-state license, BLS certification, BSN preferred, and at least one year of acute care; OR Circulating experience required.

Qualifications

• Current licensure in the State of Colorado as a Registered Nurse, or current active multistate Registered Nurse license.
• BLS certification through the American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing; BSN preferred.
• One year of acute care experience; OR Circulating experience required.

Responsibilities

• The Surgery RN oversees and directs the care of the surgical patient.
• Responsible for care of patients in all surgical specialties.
• Serves as primary nurse coordinating collaboration of disciplines for well-coordinated patient care.
• Oversees and directs assistive personnel and maintains accountability for patient care.

Position Details:

• The Surgery RN oversees and directs the care of the surgical patient.
• The Surgery RNis responsible forthecare ofpatientin all-surgical specialties.

What qualifications you will need

• Licensure/Certification/Registration:Current licensure in the State of Colorado as a Registered Nurse, or current active multistate Registered Nurse license.
• Current BLS certification through the American Heart Associationor American Red Cross.
• Education:Graduate of an accredited school of nursing, BSN Preferred
• Experience:One-yearexperience in acute care preferred. One year of OR Circulating experience Required.
