Job summary

HCA HealthONE Rose in Denver, CO is seeking an OR Registered Nurse to join our Surgical Services team. You will be part of an interdisciplinary team and contribute to patient care during all perioperative stages.

You will bring specialized OR nursing skills to support adult, adolescent, and pediatric patients and ensure proper setup for procedures. Responsibilities include prepping for procedures, assisting with surgeries, post-procedure turnover, and mentoring fellow staff as a resource.

Qualifications

• Current Colorado RN license or multi-state license.
• BLS certification through AHA or Red Cross.
• Graduate from accredited nursing program; BSN preferred.
• Minimum 1 year perioperative (OR) experience.
• CNOR preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare for procedures by ensuring adequate stock and equipment in assigned areas.
• Assist with post-procedure workload and room turnover.
• Teach, supervise, and serve as resource for staff according to competency.
• Rotate to areas beyond the OR as competency allows.

Here is some of what you can expect from being an ORRegistered Nurse with us:

• You will bring your OR Nurse specialized skills to servespecific age groups, which may include adult, adolescent, geriatric, or pediatric populations.
• You willprepareforeach procedure and/or surgery by ensuring there is adequate stock, andappropriate equipmentavailable in areas as assigned.
• You willassistwith post procedure workloadincludingcleaning room between procedures, putting away all unused supplies & setting up for the next procedure.
• You will teach, supervise, and serve as a resource person anddelegatesin accordance withthe competency level of all staff members.
• Youmay rotate to areas other thanOR, andwill perform only those duties that you havedemonstratedcompetency.

What qualifications you will need:

• Current licensure in the State of Colorado as a Registered Nurse, or current active multi-state Registered Nurse license.
• Basic Life Support certification through the American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
• Graduate from an accredited school of nursing.BSN preferred.
• One(1) yearminimumexperience in the perioperative(OR) setting isrequired.
• CNOR preferred.
