Job summary

IU Health is seeking an experienced registered nurse to join our outpatient infusion clinic at Eagle Highlands. The role is PRN with shift hours from 7:30am to 4:00pm. Primary location is Eagle Highlands, with potential travel to MMP North - Carmel for secondary shifts.

The ideal candidate has 1+ year of RN experience, ASN and Indiana RN license (NLC acceptable), BLS, and a willingness to couple infusion preparation with direct patient care in a high-quality team environment.

About the Unit:

The outpatient infusion clinic at Eagle Highlands features 5 infusion chairs and provides infusion therapies for patients managing chronic conditions across specialties such as endocrinology, gastroenterology, rheumatology, and other chronic conditions. Nurses in this clinic have the unique opportunity to prepare and mix infusion medications onsite, expanding their clinical skill set. This location does not administer chemotherapy.

Qualifications:

• Requires an Associates of Nursing (ASN); Bachelor of Nursing (BSN) preferred.
• Requires an active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Indiana or an active Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) RN license.
• Education: The Registered Nurse (RN) must have graduated from a nationally accredited nursing program.
• Exceptions: Candidates who have not graduated from a nationally accredited program may be considered if they possess more than two years of acute care experience. Such exceptions are subject to review and approval by the Chief Nursing Officer (CNO).
• Requires Basic Life Support certification through the AHA.
• Other advanced Life Support certifications may be required per unit/department specialty according to patient care policies.
