Job summary

Indiana University Healths Bloomington Infusion Center is hiring registered nurses for part-time and full-time roles. The team handles chemotherapy, antibiotics, fluids, iron infusions, and phlebotomy, with a chemo/biotherapy certification starting after hire. ASN is required, BSN preferred, and Indiana RN or NLC license is needed.

BLS and other certifications may be required by unit policy. Hours are typically 7a–7:30p.

Qualifications

• Requires an ASN; BSN preferred.

• BLS certification required; additional Life Support certifications may be required per unit.
• Oncology/infusion experience preferred; chemo/biotherapy cert will begin after hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide infusion services including chemotherapy, antibiotics, fluids, iron infusions, and phlebotomy.
• Manage IV access and patient monitoring; identify and respond to emergent situations.
• Document care and maintain EMR records; communicate with team and patients.

Part-time and Full-time roles are eligible for a $30,000 sign-on bonus (available through 9/30/2026). This position is also referral eligible.

Indiana University Health is looking for passionate, experienced nurses to join our team and collaborate with top medical professionals.

Our Infusion team operates out of the Bloomington Hospital and is an all-around infusion center. The nurses on our team will handle various infusions, including chemotherapy, antibiotics, fluid replacement, iron infusion and phlebotomy. We do not require a certification for hire; however, a Chemotherapy/Biotherapy certification will begin shortly after hire.

Qualifications:

• Requires an Associates of Nursing (ASN); Bachelors of Nursing (BSN) preferred.
• Requires an active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Indiana or an active Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) RN license.
• Requires that the RN has graduated from a nationally accredited nursing program. Exceptions: Candidates who have not graduated from a nationally accredited program may be considered if they possess more than two years of acute care experience. Such exceptions are subject to review and approval by the Chief Nursing Officer (CNO).
• Requires Basic Life Support certification through the AHA.
• Other advanced Life Support certifications may be required per unit/department specialty according to patient care policies.
