Job summary

IU Health is seeking a dedicated full-time Registered Nurse to join the infusion-oncology team. You will collaborate with physicians and staff to educate, support, and advocate for hematology/oncology patients in a fast-paced clinic.

You will provide clinical care, educate patients and families, and contribute to continuous professional growth within a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• Requires ASN or BSN; RN licensure in Indiana or NLC preferred.
• Graduation from a nationally accredited nursing program.
• BLS certification; other advanced life support may be required.
• Experience with oncology/hematology nursing is a plus.
• Must understand legal implications of patient care.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with providers and clinical staff to educate, support, and advocate for hematology/oncology patients.
• Support oncology team and physicians in daily clinical operations.
• Participate in ongoing professional growth and learning opportunities.

Join Our Compassionate OP Infusion- Oncology Team! We are seeking a dedicated full-time Registered Nurse (RN) to support our oncology clinical team and physicians. In this role, you will collaborate closely with providers and clinical staff to educate, support, and advocate for our hematology and oncology patients. This is a highly rewarding and dynamic position that offers continuous professional growth and learning opportunities. Our clinic is home to eight providers who care for patients daily, creating a collaborative and fast paced environment. Clinic hours: Monday - Friday, 8:00am-4:30pm.

Qualifications:

• Requires an Associates of Nursing (ASN); Bachelors of Nursing (BSN) preferred.
• Requires an active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Indiana or an active Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) RN license.
• Requires that the RN has graduated from a nationally accredited nursing program. Exceptions: Candidates who have not graduated from a nationally accredited program may be considered if they possess more than two years of relevant clinical experience. Such exceptions are subject to review and approval by the Chief Nursing Officer (CNO).
• Requires Basic Life Support certification through the AHA.
• Other advanced Life Support certifications may be required per unit/department specialty according to patient care policies.
• May require ability to assess patients without face-to-face interaction.
• Requires awareness and understanding of legal implications of patient care activities and performance as a Registered Nurse.
