Job summary

Indiana University Health System is seeking a dedicated full-time Registered Nurse to support the oncology infusion team. You will collaborate closely with physicians and staff to educate, support, and advocate for hematology/oncology patients in a busy clinic.

The role requires an ASN with an active Indiana RN license, BLS certification, and a willingness to engage in continuous professional growth within a dynamic, eight-provider clinic.

Qualifications

• Must have ASN or higher and be licensed as an RN in Indiana with an active license.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.
• Oncology/hematology experience is valued.
• Strong clinical assessment and patient advocacy skills.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with providers and clinical staff to educate, support and advocate for oncology patients.
• Support and educate hematology and oncology patients and families.
• Work within a fast-paced clinic with eight providers and a dedicated team.

Join Our Compassionate OP Infusion- Oncology Team! We are seeking a dedicated full-time Registered Nurse (RN) to support our oncology clinical team and physicians. In this role, you will collaborate closely with providers and clinical staff to educate, support, and advocate for our hematology and oncology patients. This is a highly rewarding and dynamic position that offers continuous professional growth and learning opportunities. Our clinic is home to eight providers who care for patients daily, creating a collaborative and fast paced environment. Clinic hours: Monday - Friday, 8:00am-4:30pm.

Qualifications:

• Requires an Associates of Nursing (ASN); Bachelors of Nursing (BSN) preferred.
  Requires an active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Indiana or an active Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) RN license.
• Requires that the RN has graduated from a nationally accredited nursing program. Exceptions: Candidates who have not graduated from a nationally accredited program may be considered if they possess more than two years of relevant clinical experience. Such exceptions are subject to review and approval by the Chief Nursing Officer (CNO).
• Requires Basic Life Support certification through the AHA.
• Other advanced Life Support certifications may be required per unit/department specialty according to patient care policies.
• May require ability to assess patients without face-to-face interaction.
• Requires awareness and understanding of legal implications of patient care activities and performance as a Registered Nurse.
