Parkland Medical Center in Derry, NH is seeking an Oncology/Hematology RN for PRN coverage to care for patients with cancers and hematologic disorders. The role includes venous access, chemotherapy, phlebotomy, bone marrow aspiration support, and coordination with the care team.
Ideal candidates hold NH or compact state RN licensure, an Associate’s degree in Nursing, BLS, and chemotherapy provider credentials. Oncology experience is preferred; BSN, OCN, and more experience are desirable.

Position Summary: The oncology/hematology nurse will care for patients with autoimmune, hematological disorders and common cancers. He/she will be proficient in venous access device accession, chemotherapy, phlebotomy, assisting with bone marrow aspiration, IV therapy, biotherapy administration and the administration of blood and blood products. Clinical trials participation, rehabilitation and collaboration with other entities are but some of the other functions the oncology/hematology nurse can expect to assist in. Patient and family teaching and coordinating plus encouraging psychological and spiritual care of those individuals are daily interactions that may be expected.
