Job summary

LiveWell Homecare Agency, LLC in Nashville, TN, seeks an experienced RN to join the Observation department on a PRN night schedule. You will deliver comprehensive nursing care to adults requiring close monitoring in a hospital setting.

Qualifications

• Active TN RN license required and current BLS
• Nursing diploma or equivalent required
• Minimum 6 months acute care experience preferred
• Willingness to obtain NIH Stroke Scale certification
• PRN night shift availability

Job description

This RN role is based in Nashville, TN, at a Midtown hospital in the Observation department, working PRN night shifts.

It involves providing comprehensive nursing care to adult patients requiring observation, including ongoing assessments, cardiac and neurological monitoring, and timely interventions for early detection of changes.

Collaboration with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate testing and treatment plans, along with patient and family education on disease management, medications, and discharge instructions, are key responsibilities.

Minimum requirements include an active RN license from the Tennessee Board of Nursing, BLS certification within 30 days, and a nursing diploma or equivalent.

Preferred qualifications are 6 months of acute care experience and willingness to obtain NIH Stroke Scale certification.
