Job summary

Henry Ford Health in Detroit, MI seeks a nurse to provide leadership in coordination and delivery of quality compassionate patient care in the NICU/Special Care Nursery. You will apply the nursing process – assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation – to guide care, delegate tasks, and teach patients and families.

The role requires BSN preferred, graduation from an accredited nursing program, clinical knowledge, analytical abilities, and ability to communicate with patients, families

Qualifications

• BSN preferred.
• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
• Clinical knowledge and analytical abilities necessary to formulate effective nursing care plans.
• Ability to perform a wide variety of professional nursing services.
• Ability to effectively communicate with patients, families, and hospital personnel.
• Minimum 1 year experience at NICU or Special Care Nursery.
• S.T.A.B.L.E course preferred.
