Job summary

TALENT Software Services is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for a role in Castro Valley, CA at a Certified Comprehensive Stroke Center. The RN will guide, educate, coordinate, and support stroke patients, families and caregivers across the continuum of care.

Required: CA RN license with NIHSS and BLS, plus 5 years of acute care stroke experience or nurse navigator background. Strong communication and MS Office skills are essential.

Qualifications

• CA RN license required with NIHSS and BLS certifications.
• 5 years recent acute care experience with stroke patients or as a nurse navigator.
• Strong communication, chart review, medical terminology, and MS Office skills.
• Preferred: CNRN or SCRN certifications.

Responsibilities

Join our team as a professional Registered Nurse (RN) in a Certified Comprehensive Stroke Center. We are seeking a dedicated individual to provide guidance, education, coordination, and support to stroke patients, families, and caregivers across the continuum of care.

• License/Certifications Required: NIHSS, CA RN, BLS-Basic Life Support
• Preferred Certifications: Certified Neuroscience Registered Nurse (CNRN) or Stroke Certified Registered Nurse (SCRN)
• Schedule: M-F, 8-1630, with occasional weekend community events
• Experience: 5 years recent acute care experience with stroke patients or as a nurse navigator
• Skills: Effective communication, chart review, medical terminology, Microsoft Office proficiency
