Job summary

Pine Ridge Care Center is seeking a registered nurse to assess and evaluate patient health, administer medications, and coordinate care under physician orders. The RN will supervise LVNs and CNAs, communicate with physicians, and educate patients and families as part of standard practice.

Responsibilities include documenting care, participating in care planning, and ensuring compliance with health standards and privacy guidelines. Shift requirements may vary by unit.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing.
• Valid State licensure as an RN.
• Current CPR certification.

SUMMARY

Assesses and evaluates the health status of resident / patient and provides care and treatment in accordance with physician orders and standards of practice. The Registered Nurse (RN) works within the scope of practice as defined by the State.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND ENVIRONMENT

Shift work may be required. Employee is frequently required to stand, walk, use hands or fingers, reach with hands and arms, feel, talk and hear. Employee will occasionally assist to lift and / or transfer patients weighing between 100 to 250 pounds. Employee is occasionally exposed to blood or other body fluids, fumes or airborne particles and toxic or caustic chemicals. SALARY RANGE: $54.00 to $61.00 PER HOUR DEPENDING ON EXPERIENCE
