Job summary

East Liverpool City Hospital is an award-winning community hospital, part of Prime Healthcare Foundation, seeking a Registered Nurse for our Med/Surgical/Telemetry unit. This is a Full Time, 12 hr Night Shift position.

You will deliver safe patient care using the nursing process, guide patient and family education, and collaborate with physicians on clinical changes. A valid state RN license and BLS are required; ACLS and BSN are preferred.

Qualifications

• Current and valid state RN License.
• Current BLS certificate upon hire and maintain current.
• Current ACLS certificate 30 days upon hire and maintain current preferred.
• Previous Acute Care hospital experience preferred.
• Ventilator Management experience preferred.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care within the scope of nursing practice.
• Utilize the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation.
• Direct and guide patient/family teaching and activities of other nursing personnel.
• Communicate with physician about changes in patient condition including cardiac monitoring and diagnostic results.
