Job summary

Mayo Clinic is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to coordinate nursing care, educate patients and families, and support transitions of care. The RN will operate within Mayo Clinic’s Nursing Professional Practice Model, providing leadership through precepting and quality improvement efforts.

State licensure is required, BLS certification, and flexible hours including nights and weekends. This position may involve driving your own vehicle in some work areas.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a nursing program.
• RN license in applicable state; BLS; BSN within five years; 1 year RN experience or 1 year LPN experience preferred.
• Excellent communication skills (verbal and written).

Responsibilities

• Coordinate nursing care, patient/family education and transitions of care.
• Lead through preceptor roles and contribute to quality improvement.
• May drive personal vehicle as part of role requirements.
