Pearl Healthcare in Evanston, IL is seeking a Registered Nurse to join our dedicated team. The RN will oversee day-to-day nursing operations, administer medications, and coordinate with nursing assistants to deliver high-quality resident care on a weekend shifts.

Responsibilities

• Direct the day-to-day functions of the nursing assistants. Plan the shift’s services and activities.
• Make reports on shift activities; admit, transfer and discharge residents as required; provide leadership to nursing staff.
• Prepare and administer medications as ordered by the physician.
• Maintain good working rapport with inter-departmental personnel to ensure nursing services meet residents’ needs.
• Monitor safety regulations in the use of equipment and supplies by assigned personnel.
• Maintain confidentiality of all resident care information.

Shift Details:

Weekend: Saturday & Sunday

AM: 7AM - 3PM

PM: 3PM - 11PM

Rate Range: $36 - $41 hourly

Responsibilities for Registered Nurse (RN):

• Direct the day-to-day functions of the nursing assistants. Meet with your assigned nursing staff, as well as support personnel, in planning the shift’s services, programs and activities.
• Make written & oral reports/recommendations concerning the activities of the shift as required. Admit, transfer and discharge residents as required. Provide leadership to nursing personnel assigned to your unit/shift.
• Prepare & administer medications as ordered by the physician.
• Develop & maintain a good working rapport with inter-departmental personnel, as well as other departments within the facility to ensure that nursing services and activities can be adequately maintained to meet the needs of the residents.
• Monitor your assigned personnel to ensure that they are following established safety regulations in the use of equipment and supplies.
• Maintain confidentiality of all resident care information including protected health information.

Qualifications for Registered Nurse (RN):

• Current Illinois Nursing License (Required)
• Current CPR certification (Preferred)
