Job summary

Pearl Healthcare is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to join The Pearl of St. Charles on 12-hour shifts. A $5/hour bonus applies for the first 180 days, with competitive wages and a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, and life insurance.

The role involves directing nursing staff, reporting on shift activities, administering medications, and coordinating care across departments to meet residents’ needs. Illinois license and CPR cert preferred.

Qualifications

• Current Illinois Nursing License required.
• Current CPR certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Direct the day-to-day functions of the nursing assistants. Plan the shift’s services with staff.
• Make written & oral reports/recommendations for shift activities and manage admissions, transfers and discharges.
• Prepare and administer medications as ordered by the physician.
• Develop and maintain good working rapport with inter-departmental staff to ensure nursing services meet residents’ needs.
• Monitor staff to ensure safety regulations in equipment usage.
• Maintain confidentiality of all resident care information.

Shifts:

12 Hour shifts Available

• 1st Shift: 7AM - 7PM
• 2nd Shifts: 7PM - 7AM

Responsibilities for Registered Nurse (RN):

• Direct the day-to-day functions of the nursing assistants. Meet with your assigned nursing staff, as well as support personnel, in planning the shift’s services, programs and activities.
• Make written & oral reports/recommendations concerning the activities of the shift as required. Admit, transfer and discharge residents as required. Provide leadership to nursing personnel assigned to your unit/shift.
• Prepare & administer medications as ordered by the physician.
• Develop & maintain a good working rapport with inter-departmental personnel, as well as other departments within the facility to ensure that nursing services and activities can be adequately maintained to meet the needs of the residents.
• Monitor your assigned personnel to ensure that they are following established safety regulations in the use of equipment and supplies.
• Maintain confidentiality of all resident care information including protected health information.

Qualifications for Registered Nurse (RN):

• Current Illinois Nursing License (Required)
• Current CPR certification (Preferred)
