Job summary

HCA Houston Healthcare Tomball is seeking a Registered Nurse (PRN) to provide individualized, age-specific care for neonates and infants. The RN develops and evaluates plans of care, delegates tasks, and ensures care aligns with Texas Nurse Practice Act and hospital policy.

The role includes conducting comprehensive assessments, formulating care plans, teaching patients, and coordinating care across a team to promote health and recovery.

Qualifications

• BLS within 30 days of employment start date.
• Neonate Resuscitation within 30 days of employment start date.
• RN (Registered Nurse)
• Associate Degree in nursing
• 1 year of acute care hospital experience; NICU preferred.

Job Summary And Qualifications

The Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for providing individualized, age specific, goal directed care for the neonate and infant. The RN assesses the needs of the patient/client in order to develop a plan of care and then implements and evaluates the plan. The RN bases the plan of care on current nursing knowledge/skills and institutional methodology. The RN accepts assignments that are commensurate with his/her experience, knowledge and ability. The RN delegates tasks to the licensed and unlicensed personnel according to the Texas Nurse Practice Act and hospital policy.

What qualifications you will need:

• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date


• Neonate Resuscitate must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
