Job summary

HCA Houston Healthcare Tomball is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide individualized, age-specific care, develop and evaluate plans, and coordinate with licensed/unlicensed staff under hospital policy and the Texas Nurse Practice Act.

You will be responsible for direct patient care, equipment inspection, and critical decision-making in a fast-paced clinical environment, with emphasis on safety and excellent communication with families and teams.

Qualifications

• RN responsibilities include individualized, age-specific care and planning.
• Knowledge of Texas Nurse Practice Act and hospital policy.
• Must obtain ACLS, BCLS, and NRP within specified timelines.

Job Summary And Qualifications

The Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for providing individualized, age specific, goal directed care. The RN assesses the needs of the patient/client in order to develop a plan of care and then implements and evaluates the plan. The RN bases the plan of care on current nursing knowledge/skills and institutional methodology. The RN accepts assignments that are commensurate with his/her experience, knowledge and ability. The RN delegates tasks to the licensed and unlicensed personnel according to the Texas Nurse Practice Act and hospital policy.

What qualifications you will need:

• Advanced Cardiac Life Spt must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date


• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date


• Neonate Resuscitate must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date

• Advanced Fetal Monitoring, or Intermediate Fetal Monitoring must be obtained within 6 months of employment start date
