Mercy is seeking a Registered Nurse in Rogers, Arkansas for the Level III NICU. You will deliver patient-centered nursing care, collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, and ensure confidentiality and adherence to Mercy's mission.

The role requires BLS and RN licensure, with potential additional certifications (ACLS, NRP, ENPC, TNCC, CPN, OCN, PALS, PEARS, S.T.A.B.L.E., C-EFM) as per unit needs. 3-1 staffing ratio in a 24/7 NICU supports family-centered care.

Qualifications

• Graduated from a school of nursing (associate's degree, Diploma, or BSN).
• Maintain a current RN license in the hiring state and/or compact licensure.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through AHA or obtained within 30 days of hire.
• Certifications may be required based on unit (ACLS, NRP, ENPC, TNCC, CPHON, OCN, PALS, PEARS, S.T.A.B.L.E., C-EFM, etc.).

• Provide nursing care using the nursing process to ensure safe, effective, patient-centered care.
• Evaluate care effectiveness of direct caregivers and coordinate with interdisciplinary teams.

Level III NICU

The Level III NICU is a 24/7, multidisciplinary unit located adjacent to the Mother/Baby Unit, featuring private suites that support family-centered care. The team provides advanced neonatal care for infants as early as 26 weeks gestation, including therapies such as therapeutic hypothermia, high-frequency ventilation, and iNO. NRP and STABLE certification is required and can be completed once hired, and national specialty certification (RNC-NIC) is strongly encouraged.

Qualifications

Education

Graduated from a school of nursing (associate's degree, Diploma, or BSN).

Licensure

Is personally responsible for obtaining, and maintaining, a current RN license within the hiring state and/or compact licensure in which nursing duties are performed and must meet all state board of nursing requirements.

Certifications

Basic Life Support certification through the American Heart Association or successful completion of course within 30 days of hire.

Physical Requirements

• Position requires the ability to push, pull, and/or lift 50 lbs on a regular basis.
• Position requires prolonged standing and walking during each shift.
• Position requires the ability to grip, reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat to perform duties.
