Henry Ford Health in Detroit is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Neurology unit at St. John Hospital on a 36-hour weekly night shift (three 12-hour shifts, 7:00 PM–7:30 AM) with rotating weekends and observed holidays. A $7,500 sign-on bonus is available.

You will provide leadership in coordinating and delivering high-quality, compassionate patient care, using the nursing process to assess, plan, implement and evaluate care to support patient recovery and family engagement.

Qualifikationen

Job Description

General Summary

Sign-On Bonus: $7,500

Schedule: 36 hours per week, Night Shift, 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, Three 12-hour shifts per week, rotating every other weekend and observed holiday

About the Department

The Neurology Unit at St. John Hospital is a 22 bed neuro step-down unit. We specialize in neurology patients and cardiac overflow. This unit was created 6 years ago to provide the care needed to patients post intervention (thrombectomy, TNK, stents). Being a step-down unit, we are trained to take cardiac drips and provide the necessary oversite for patients due to our staffing matrix. We are a closed unit who believe in caring for all of the patients not just the ones assigned to you. We have all private rooms with built in avasys (virtual safety monitoring) cameras in all of our patient rooms.
