Job summary

Mercy Fort Smith is seeking a Registered Nurse - Neuro (Days) to provide nursing care for neuro patients using the nursing process. You will coordinate with other departments and ensure patient rights and confidentiality are upheld.

Qualifications

• Graduate of accredited nursing program (ASN/ADN/BSN).
• Current RN license in hiring state or compact licensure.
• BLS and ACLS required or obtained within 90 days of hire.
• Experience in neuro/neurosurgical care preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care for neuro patients and coordinate with care teams.
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care using the nursing process.
• Monitor patient rights and confidentiality.
• Assist with stroke and neurosurgical care per unit protocols.
