Job summary

Saint Clare's Health in New Jersey is seeking a Registered Nurse with NICU experience to deliver safe, high-quality care to newborns and mothers. You will use the nursing process and collaborate with the care team to plan and evaluate patient outcomes.

Current NJ RN license, BLS, and NRP are required; 1 year of acute care/NICU experience is preferred, with BSN preferred. This full-time role shifts days in a hospital setting as part of Prime Healthcare.

Qualifications

• One year of experience in an acute care setting with NICU or nursery experience.

Responsibilities

• Respond quickly to changes in condition and treatment responses.

Responsibilities

Registered Nurse is responsible for the delivery of safe patient care utilizing the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation. The Registered Nurse also directs and guides patient/family teaching and activities of other nursing personnel while maintaining standards of professional nursing. Is able to respond quickly and accurately to changes in condition and/or response to treatment. Provides for a safe environment for patients and visitors. Utilizes the chain of command when necessary to ensure patient well-being and appropriateness of care to neonates from post delivery stabilization through discharge. NICU- Provides direct patient care within the scope of practice with assistance to neonates.

Qualifications

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING

• 1. Current and valid state RN License.
• 2. Current BLS (AHA) certificate upon hire and maintain current.
• 3. NRP (AHA) certificate 30 days upon hire and maintain current.
• 4. One year experience in an acute care setting with experience in nursery or NICU environment.
• 5. Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.

A reasonable compensation estimate for this role, which includes estimated wages, benefits, and other forms of compensation, is $43.26 to $54.09. The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, in which a wide range of factors will be considered, including but not limited to, skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials and licensure.
