Job summary

Hackensack Meridian Health is seeking a Registered Nurse for Shore Care to deliver evidence-based nursing care, adhere to policies, and provide patient-centered services. The role requires data collection, care planning, and collaboration with a multi-disciplinary team to ensure safe, effective care across the continuum.

Travel between HMH locations is required. Minimum 2 years of specialty nursing experience plus NJ RN license are required, with potential floating/float pool experience

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in Nursing or Diploma in Nursing.
• Minimum of two (2) years recent experience in specialty required (effective May 5, 2025).
• Minimum of one (1) year experience in a floating professional environment, such as with a travel professional organization, site flexible resource float pool or equivalent environment required (effective May 5, 2025).
• Ability to learn quickly, adapt to changing patient needs, strong sense of accountability, teamwork, continuing education, and delivering high-quality patient care.

Responsibilities

• Assessment: Collect data, perform age- and disease-specific assessment.
• Plan: Develop plan of care with patient/family goals.
• Implementation: Communicate, coordinate, and execute plan; educate patient/family; document care.
• Evaluation: Evaluate progress and initiate interventions for changes in condition.
• Additional Responsibilities: Identify ethical issues; enhance patient satisfaction; maintain competencies and complete required credentials; travel between HMH locations.
