Job summary

Hackensack Meridian Health seeks a registered nurse with an associate's degree or diploma in nursing and a minimum of two years’ recent experience in a specialty area. Candidates should also have at least one year of experience in floating professional environments, such as a travel pool or flexible resource float pool.

The role requires the ability to learn quickly, strong accountability, teamwork, and a patient-first focus.

Education, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:

• Effective May 5, 2025, minimum of two (2) years recent experience in specialty required.
• Effective May 5, 2025, minimum of one (1) year experience in a floating professional environment, such as with a travel professional organization, site flexible resource float pool or equivalent environment required.

• National Certification in area of specialty preferred when eligible.

Licenses and Certifications Required:

• NJ State Professional Registered Nurse License.
• AHA Basic Health Care Life Support HCP Certification within 60 days of entering position.
