Job summary

Baptist Health in Jacksonville is seeking an experienced ICU Registered Nurse for full-time night shifts in the Downtown - Main Building. This role involves providing specialized care, coordinating with physicians, and guiding families through the care plan.

Candidates should have an RN license in Florida, ASN or BA/BS in nursing, and 1–2 years of cardiac/telemetry experience. BLS is required; ACLS/CCRN are preferred. A sign-on bonus is offered for new hires.

Qualifications

• RN licensure in Florida is required.
• ASN required; BA/BS preferred.
• 1–2 years cardiac experience preferred.
• 1–2 years telemetry experience preferred.
• ACLS preferred; BLS required; CCRN preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care for medical/surgical or other ICU conditions.
• Coordinate care with physicians and ancillary services.
• Educate patients and families about disease and plan of care.
• Act as patient advocate and participate in unit meetings.

Responsibilities include: Coordination and preparation of assigned room/case, assessment of patient care needs and the anticipation of needs of the case.
