Job summary

TALENT Software Services is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse with Med/Surg, telemetry, and Neuro, Ortho Rehab, and spine experience. Ideal candidates will read cardiac rhythms and administer cardiac infusions including Nitro, Lasix, heparin, and amiodarone.

Weekend requirement is every other weekend; BLS certification is required; on-call not required. Floating to equal or lesser floors is expected; local candidates are not accepted within 100 miles; pending license accepted.

Qualifications

• RN licensure required or pending accepted
• Experience in Med/Surg, telemetry, Neuro, Ortho Rehab, and spine specialties
• Proficient reading of cardiac rhythms and administering cardiac infusions such as Nitro, Lasix, heparin, and amiodarone

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive Med/Surg, telemetry, Neuro, Ortho Rehab and spine patient care.
• Interpret cardiac rhythms and respond to rhythm changes.
• Administer cardiac medications and infusions as ordered.
• Float to equal or lesser acute floors as needed.
• Weekend commitment includes every other weekend.

Requirements

• Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
• Required Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS)
• On-call Requirement: Not required
• Floating: Nurse will float to equal or lesser acute floors as needed
• Block Schedule: Not available
• Local Candidates: Not accepted within a 100-mile radius
• Pending License: Accepted
• Requested Time Off Restrictions: Ideally no more than 5 days

Additional Information

• Guaranteed Hours: The client may cancel up to 3 shifts at any time without penalty. On-call hours do not count towards guaranteed minimum hours.
