Job summary

IRON Recovery and Wellness Center in Trenton, NJ, is seeking a Registered Nurse to expand MOUD and infectious disease services across Mercer and Ocean Counties. You will conduct nursing assessments, clinical monitoring, education, and coordination with clinicians to support treatment and recovery.

Ideal candidates hold an NJ RN license, with 2+ years in nursing, MOUD familiarity, and a valid BLS/CPR. Travel between sites is expected as part of the role, with comprehensive benefits and

Qualifications

• Current, unencumbered RN license issued by the New Jersey Board of Nursing.
• Minimum of two years nursing experience, including experience with substance use disorder or infectious disease services.
• Familiarity with MOUD protocols and applicable 42 CFR Part 8 requirements.
• Current BLS or CPR certification.
• Valid New Jersey driver’s license and ability to routinely travel between the Trenton and Toms River sites.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical nursing services across both project sites.
• Perform nursing assessments, triage, and clinical monitoring.
• Educate clients regarding medication adherence and overdose prevention.
• Support MOUD services at the Ocean County site.
• Collaborate with prescribing clinicians, the medical director, and Care Coordinators.
• Participate in quality improvement activities and clinical chart reviews.
