Job summary

Las Palmas Medical Center, part of HCA Healthcare, is seeking a Registered Nurse Mother Baby PRN to deliver direct nursing care in accordance with hospital policies and the Texas Board of Nurse Examiners. You will collaborate with patients, families, and the health care team to assess, plan, implement, evaluate, and coordinate the plan of care.

The role requires active RN licensure, BLS, and Neonatal Resuscitation, with opportunities to participate in hospital councils and nursing initiatives.

Qualifications

• BLS must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
• Neonatal Resuscitation must be obtained within 6 months of employment start date.
• (RN) Registered Nurse licensure is required.
• Education: Associate, Bachelors, or RN Diploma.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct nursing care in accordance with policies and procedures.
• Collaborates with patient, family, and health care team to coordinate care.
• Assesses, plans, implements, evaluates and coordinates the plan of care.

Job Summary and Qualifications

POSITION SUMMARY:

The R staff nurse provides direct nursing care in accordance with established policies and procedures of Las Palmas Medical Center and the Texas Board of Nurse Examiners. In collaboration with the patient, the patient’s family and other members of the health care team, the clinical RN assesses, plans, implements, evaluates, and coordinates treatment plans and the plan of care.

What qualifications you will need:

• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• Neonate Resuscitate must be obtained within 6 months of employment start date
• (RN) Registered Nurse
• Associate Degree, or Bachelors Degree, or Registered Nurse Diploma
