Northside Hospital in Atlanta, GA seeks a Registered Professional Nurse to provide professional nursing care under physician orders in accordance with Georgia Nurse Practice Act and hospital guidelines. The incumbent independently plans and delivers care across units as required.

Preferred candidates may hold a BSN and additional life support credentials, with at least two years of RN experience considered.

Formación

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Licensed RN in Georgia in good standing.
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association.

The Registered Professional Nurse at Northside Hospital independently plans and provides professional nursing care to patients in accordance with physician orders and established guidelines, and in accordance with the scope of practice as defined by the Georgia Nurse Practice Act.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES, LICENSE OR CERTIFICATION REQUIRED:

1. Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing
2. Licensed as a RN in the State of Georgia in good standing without limitations.
3. Must hold Certified in American Heart Association's Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS).

KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES/LICENSE OR CERTIFICATION PREFERRED:

1. BSN degree
2. Two (2) years of experience as a Registered Professional Nurse (RN).
3. Additional Life Support credential (ACLS, PALS, NRP, etc.) or other clinical specialty certifications in specific units.
4. Visual color acuity depending on the role in specific units.
