Job Title: Travel RN – Mother Baby (Night Shift)
Location: Springfield, MO
Shift: Nights – 3x13 hours
Duration: 13 Weeks

Job Overview:

We are currently seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse (RN) – Mother Baby for a 13-week travel assignment in Springfield, MO. Join our dedicated team in a respected healthcare facility where you will provide exceptional care to mothers and newborns during the critical postpartum period.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to mothers and newborns in the postpartum unit
• Assist with labor and delivery, including the immediate care of the newborn
• Monitor maternal and newborn conditions, and assess for complications or needs
• Educate patients and families on newborn care, breastfeeding, and postpartum recovery
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals
• Administer medications, perform assessments, and provide patient care in accordance with best practices
• Document patient interactions, treatments, and progress accurately
• Respond promptly to any changes in patient condition and assist with emergencies when needed

Requirements:

• Active RN license (Missouri state or compact license)
• Minimum of 2 years of Mother Baby experience
• Current certifications in ACLS, BLS, NRP, and PALS (AHA preferred)
• Strong clinical skills in maternal and neonatal care
• Ability to provide exceptional, compassionate care in a high-stress environment
• Effective communication and patient education skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team

Contract Details:

• Location: Springfield, MO
• Shift: Nights – 3x13 hours
• Duration: 13-week contract
