Job summary

Incredible Health is seeking a Registered Nurse – Mother Baby in Goodyear, AZ. You will deliver postpartum nursing care to mothers and newborns, monitor for complications, and document assessments to ensure safe, high-quality care.

Ideal candidates hold ADN or higher in nursing, an active RN license, BLS and NRP from the American Heart Association, and 1+ year of mother-baby/postpartum/L&D experience. Shifts include day, night, mid; roles are full-time, part-time, and per diem.

Qualifications

• ADN or higher in nursing.
• Active RN license.
• 1+ year mother-baby/postpartum/L&D experience preferred.
• BLS and NRP certifications from AHA.
• Strong interpersonal skills and empathetic patient care.
• Proficiency with EMR systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to mothers and newborns during the postpartum period, monitoring for complications.
• Administer medications as prescribed and perform routine assessments of maternal and newborn vital signs.
• Provide emotional support and education on infant care, breastfeeding, and self-care post-delivery.
• Collaborate with obstetricians, pediatricians, and other healthcare providers for coordinated care.
• Document maternal and newborn assessments, interventions, and outcomes per hospital policies.

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree (ADN) or above in nursing
• Active and unencumbered Registered Nurse license
• 1+ year experience in a mother-baby, postpartum, or labor and delivery setting preferred
• BLS (Basic Life Support) and NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certifications from the American Heart Association
• Strong interpersonal skills, with a focus on empathetic patient and family-centered care
• Proficiency in electronic medical record systems

• Accurately document maternal and newborn assessments, interventions, and outcomes in line with hospital policies and procedures
