Job Summary and Qualifications

The Registered Nurse demonstrates knowledge and skills in patient care, with specialized skills as needed. Care delivery is age-appropriate and considers physical, psychosocial, cultural, safety, and learning needs. The RN may float to other areas and will perform duties within their competency. Responsibilities include performing delegated tasks within the scope of practice, following lab testing protocols, documenting results, and communicating critical findings. Educational records are mandatory for non-waived testing. The position requires taking call and meeting departmental shift requirements.
