Job summary

Loyola Medicine is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for the MICU at Loyola University Medical Center in Maywood, IL. This full-time, 12-hour night shift position offers a dynamic, team-focused environment within a 16-bed unit treating sepsis, ARF, post-cardiac events and complex care needs.

The role supports nurses' growth with a Clinical Nurse Specialist and education emphasis; competitive pay ranges based on BSN/ADN, and a comprehensive benefits package are provided.

Qualifications

• A degree from an accredited school/college of nursing (BSN or ADN) is required.
• BLS Provider certification required prior to hire.
• Illinois Board of Nursing license required prior to hire.
• 1 year ICU nursing experience preferred; Med-Surg Tele RN experience preferred.

Our MICU is a 16-bed unit that cares for a wide patient population including diagnoses such as sepsis/septic shock, acute respiratory failure, post cardiac arrest, liver failure, GI bleed. Nurses will use arterial lines, ventilators, intraortic balloon pumps, EKOs, CRRT while caring for their patients. Our team includes a Clinical Nurse Specialist who focuses on nursing quality outcomes and staff education and support. What Registered Nurse RN will need:

• A Degree from an accredited school/college of nursing is required - BSN or ADN
• BLS Provider (accredited by the American Heart Association) required prior to hire
• Illinois Board of Nursing license prior to hire
• 1 Year of Intensive Care Nursing Experience Preferred, must have Med-Surg Tele RN experience

Compensation:

BSN Pay Range: $36.05 - $59.92 per hour

ADN Pay Range: $32.97 - $57.06 per hour

Actual compensation will fall within the range but may vary based on factors such as experience, qualifications, education, location, licensure, certification requirements, and comparisons to colleagues in similar roles.
