Qualifications

• Nursing diploma or associate degree; bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Active RN license (single-state or multi-state compact) and BLS certification required.
• Less than one year of clinical nursing experience, including clinical hours during education.
• Strong clinical judgement, communication, teamwork, and commitment to evidence-based practice and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive nursing assessments, diagnoses, planning, implementation, and evaluation using critical thinking and evidence-based practices.
• Provide relationship-based, culturally sensitive care, partnering with patients and families to align care with their goals.
• Coordinate safe care delivery through effective communication, documentation, and collaboration within the healthcare team.
• Participate in performance improvement, research activities, and shared governance to promote quality and safety.
• Support professional development by mentoring colleagues, completing competency assessments, and staying current with clinical standards.
