Job summary

Aspire Living & Learning in Trumbull, CT, is seeking a Registered Nurse to oversee nursing care and medication administration in state-licensed sites. The RN will conduct trainings, ensure regulatory compliance, and develop internal procedures.

You should hold an active RN license, state certification to train medication administration, and have experience with children and young adults with developmental disabilities. A valid driver’s license and clean record are preferred.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in good standing.
• Current state certification to train mandated medication administration or ability to obtain.
• Experience with children and young adults up to 21 with developmental disabilities preferred.
• Strong knowledge of nursing care and medication administration regulations; ability to conduct audits and deliver training.

Responsibilities

• Lead initial and refresher Medication Certification training and annual trainings.
• Ensure compliance with state regulations and Aspire standards for nursing care and medication administration.
• Develop internal procedures for medication storage, handling, and nursing care protocols at registered sites.
