Job summary

Black Women's Mental Health Institute is seeking a Registered Nurse for Medical Surgical Telemetry at Highland Park Hospital. This full-time night shift (7pm–7:30am) includes rotating weekends and a 36-hour work week, with competitive hourly pay based on experience.

You will provide comprehensive nursing care, using the nursing process to plan, implement, and evaluate patient care, while supervising unlicensed staff and collaborating with the care team to ensure safety and quality outcomes.

Qualifications

• Current IL nursing license.
• BSN preferred; NLN-accredited program.
• BLS/CPR certification; nursing/CNA experience preferred for new graduates.

Responsibilities

Pay Range:

$37.25 - $57.74/hour, based on experience and expertise

Responsibilities:

Provide safe, effective, and compassionate nursing care; utilize the nursing process for planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care; supervise and guide unlicensed assistive personnel; communicate and collaborate with healthcare team members; contribute to safety and high-quality patient experiences.

Qualifications:

Current IL nursing license; graduation from an NLN-accredited school (BSN preferred); BLS/CPR certification; prior nursing or CNA experience preferred for new graduates.
