Job summary

SoftPath Medical seeks a Registered Nurse for Milton Hospital in Milton, MA, to fill a winter staffing assignment. This 12-hour night shift requires reading telemetry, with a guarantee of 72 hours biweekly and an 8-week duration starting 12/08, with every other weekend worked.

Candidates must be a graduate of an accredited nursing program, hold MA RN licensure, CPR and ACLS, plus 2+ years in acute Medical-Surgical with telemetry and Epic EMR experience; onboarding includes a pass/fail

Position Details

Contract guaranteed hours: 72 hours biweekly on all assignments - guaranteed hours exclude any on-call time worked.

Assignment Duration and Start Date

• Winter staffing needs
• 8-week assignment
• Start date: 12/08 only
• No more than three days of requested time off (RTO) will be accepted

Shift

12-hour night shift, every other weekend required.

Requirements

• Epic experience is required.
• This unit does not have Tele Techs; all RNs must be able to read and interpret their own cardiac strips.
• Passing a pass/fail ECG/Telemetry test and Medications test during onboarding is mandatory.
• Tests include Dysrhythmia (20 questions) and Medication (20 questions), administered via Zoom Protector meeting prior to acceptance.
• RNs must test within 48 hours of confirmation.
• Passing score is 85%; no retakes or remediation allowed.
• Preparation is strongly recommended using the provided study guide with tips and answers.

Qualifications

• License: Current Registered Nurse licensure by the Massachusetts Board of Registration in Nursing.
