• Familiarity with EPIC EMR is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide care for MS Stroke Stepdown patients and manage their treatments.
• Document patient progress and report changes to the healthcare team.
• Administer medications and assist with various medical procedures.

We are hiring a Registered Nurse - Medical/Surgical (Nursing) for one of our clients in Utica, NY.

Job Description

• Unit: MS Stroke Stepdown Patients
• Floating Required: Yes
• Scrub Color: Navy Blue
• Unit Specifics: Common Diagnosis - Stroke, altered mental status, renal, dialysis, COPD, CHF, isolation, general med surg, pneumonia, pulmonary issues.
• Specialty Equipment- IV pumps, N/G tubes, feeding tubes Patient Demographics: Adults Number of Beds in the Unit: 64
  
  

Submission Requirements

• WILL TAKES LOCALS - Local rate (less than 75 miles)
• Up to date resume that includes 2+ years of experience in MS STROKE STEPDOWN and documents travel experience.
• 2 recent MS Charge/Manager RN References Skills Checklist matching specialty Drivers licenses with address that matches demographics
• Current AHA BLS, NIHSS NURSYS Report Licenses verification with ACTIVE NY License & ALL active RN Licenses.
• RTO MUST be included at time of submission
• EMR Exp: EPIC
