Job summary

Northshore Home Health Care seeks a registered nurse (RN) to provide patient care using the nursing process, ensuring accountability and evaluating care effectiveness. The role includes coordinating care with other departments, safeguarding patient rights and confidentiality, and aligning with our mission.

Shifts are 12 hours, with day or night options, and both full-time and part-time roles are available. Responsibilities cover medical-surgical cases, chronic and acute conditions, and services

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited nursing program or upcoming graduate.
• Current RN license for the state or compact licensure.
• Basic Life Support certification (or within 30 days of hire).
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform mobility tasks.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care using the nursing process and maintain professional accountability.
• Coordinate patient care with other departments and protect patient rights and confidentiality.
• Manage complex diagnoses in a medical-surgical unit, including chronic and acute conditions.
• Support surgical interventions, outpatient infusions, chemo, and anticoagulation therapies.

Job description

Seeking a registered nurse (RN) to provide patient care utilizing the nursing process, ensuring professional accountability, and evaluating care effectiveness. Responsibilities include coordinating patient care with other departments, maintaining patient rights and confidentiality, and adhering to standard values and mission.

The role involves working 12-hour shifts, either day or night, with options for full-time or part-time employment. Key duties encompass managing complex diagnoses in a medical-surgical unit, including chronic and acute conditions such as infections, wounds, pneumonia, sepsis, COPD, diabetes, and post-surgical care. RNs will handle patients requiring surgical interventions, outpatient infusions, chemo, and anticoagulation therapies.

Qualifications

• Current RN license for the state or compact licensure
• Basic Life Support certification (or within 30 days of hire)
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds, stand, walk, and perform various movements
